Attention 8th Grade Chamberlain Middle School Students Going to Washington DC

2009 8th Grade Washington DC Trip
This year about 80 Chamberlain Middle School students will be traveling to Washington DC November 18-21.  Students will have an opportunity to witness and participate in laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers at Arlington Cemetary.  They also will be visiting Mount Vernon the home of George Washington and several other historic sites like the Vietnam Wall, Korean Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, FDR and Jefferson Memorials, the National Cathedral, the Capital Building and White House.  On their way back home students will get an interactive tour through the Battle of Gettysburg where they will get to be on the battle field and do several different reeactments of what took place.

 
3rd and final payment is due the week of Oct. 5-9 to Mr. Sprandel
