New Superintendent for Carlisle...

Return to Homepage

The members of the Board of Education are pleased to announce we have selected Mr. Larry Hook as our next Superintendent of Carlisle Local Schools.

Mr. Hook will be introduced at a special meeting this Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the High School Commons.  We cordially invite all employees, students, parents, and members of the community to this meeting to witness Mr. Hook’s employment and to meet Mr. Hook and his family, and to welcome them to our great community.

Selection of a superintendent to lead our schools is among the most important duties entrusted to members of the Board of Education.  We have spent many hours on this process and we are unanimous in our selection and enthusiasm for Mr. Hook.  He brings many years of diverse experiences to our schools, having worked as a Principal at
Milford and more recently as Assistant Superintendent at Springboro.  He has a positive vision to lead our students and schools to new levels of excellence.  We believe employees will enjoy Mr. Hook’s commitment to partnerships with all employee groups and most importantly, we believe he will put students first in all his decisions.

The future will bring some challenges to our school community as we work to increase student achievement and also to address the financial challenges common to all school districts.  The Board of Education wants to express our gratitude to our employees for the great work you do with our students, and we also want to express our  belief that we can accomplish greater things for our students and community by working together as partners.  We are confident Mr. Hook’s energy, vision, and commitment to excellence will greatly enhance the work we do together.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday as we introduce Mr. Hook and his family to our community.
